Mack hails from a northern Vermont dairy farm family and he has seen relatives lose their farms and struggle to survive.
Mack hopes to empower small Vermont farmers, worrying that hemp growing in the future could be taken over by large agri-business corporations. Mack initially hoped to have hemp farming booths at local fairs this summer, but falling behind in his work, he now he is aiming at organizing community educational events to teach about hemp farming.
